Terms and Conditions – 11 plus Confidence Club

Autumn Term

1. Booking and Payment

• A place in the 11+ Confidence Club is secured once full payment of £490 is received.
  
  

• This fee covers 14 weekly group sessions, each lasting 60 minutes.
  
  

• Sessions run from w/c 8 September to w/c 15 December 2025, excluding half-term (week of 27 October).
  
  

• Places are limited to 4 children per group. Days are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
  
  

2. Attendance and Absence

• Regular attendance is expected for your child to gain the full benefit of the programme.
  
  

• Missed sessions will not be refunded or rescheduled unless cancelled by the tutor.
  
  

• If your child is unable to attend a session due to illness or other reasons, please notify us as early as possible.
  
  

3. Cancellations and Refunds

• Refunds are not available once the term has begun, as places are limited and allocated in advance.
  
  

• If you choose to withdraw your child before the term begins, a full refund will be given up to 7 days before the first session.
  
  

• In the unlikely event that Learn to Thrive cancels a session, you will be offered an alternative date or a refund for that session.
  
  

4. Safeguarding and Behaviour

• Learn to Thrive is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment.
  
  

• Children are expected to behave respectfully to the tutor and fellow group members.
  
  

• Parents will be informed if behaviour becomes disruptive to the learning environment.
  
  

5. Health and Wellbeing

• Please inform us of any allergies, medical conditions, or learning needs at the time of booking.
  
  

• In case of illness, children should not attend until they are well enough to participate.
  
  

• Emergency contact details must be provided and kept up to date.
  
  

6. Communication

• Updates and reminders will be sent via email, WhatsApp, or text based on your preferences.
  
  

• We aim to respond to all queries within 24 hours Monday to Friday.

• If you require an update on your child’s progress or wish to discuss any issues relating to the tutor sessions, please book an appointment via the Learn to Thrive Website and we will call you at your preferred time.

7. Data Protection

• All information you provide is treated confidentially and in line with current data protection laws.
  
  

• Personal details will be used only for the purpose of providing tuition and communicating with you about your child’s learning.

• Any information that you or your child shared will remain confidential in accordance with Child Protection legislation.
  
  

8. Outcomes

While every effort is made to support your child’s progress, no specific outcome can be guaranteed. The 11+ Confidence Club is designed to help your child:

• Develop key skills for the Buckinghamshire Transfer Test
  
  

• Build confidence in English language and comprehension
  
  

• Enjoy learning in a supportive, small-group environment
  
  

However, learning is influenced by a range of factors including individual ability, personal circumstances, learning disposition, and consistent application both within and outside of sessions.
